Each piece in this handcrafted bistro set is made from high-quality steel, which galvanised for outstanding rust protection - ensuring it stands the test of time, even in the unpredictable British weather. The furniture is then powder coated lichen green to give an attractive weatherproof finish that suits any garden setting. Darsham Bistro Table
The folding bistro table has an attractive slatted top measuring 80cm diameter and comes with an umbrella hole, making it perfectly adaptable to the time of day and weather. Perfect for two, the table has a clever folding mechanism making it easy to move and store.
The table is made using 30mm wide and 6mm thick steel for the legs and the table top is 3mm thick. Measuring 80cm and 73cm high, the table weighs a reassuring 20kg. There are foot pads for each leg of the table and each table foot has holes to fix into place if required.
Darsham Folding Chairs Design B
Every aspect of our bistro chairs has been thoughtfully engineered for relaxation. The ergonomic design incorporates precisely angled back slats and a gently flexible steel seat, ensuring hours of comfortable conversation. We've paid particular attention to the small details that make a big difference to your outdoor enjoyment.
The chair framework is made from 30mm wide x 6mm thick steel with the seat slats 3mm thick. Each chair measures 89cm high, 50cm wide with a seat height of 45cm and weighs 15kg.
Floor-protecting feet pads are supplied as standard with each chair, and each foot has fixing holes if required.
Add cushions to your furniture set
Cushions are not supplied but can be bought separately and are now available in 5 colours - Grey, Ivory, Sand, Sea Breeze and Sea Grass. The cushions measure 47cm x 47cm x 4cm thick. Made with Acrylic Canvas the cushions are water resistant but store away during the winter and wet weather.
The cushions can be washed by hand at a cool temperature using hand washing detergent. They need to be allowed to dry fully which can take some time. Machine washing is not advised according to the material manufacturer.
Complete your furniture set
Please note: Due to exceptionally high demand, our parasols are currently out of stock. New stock is expected to arrive in early 2026.
Parasol is not supplied but is available to buy separately. Measuring 3m wide and 2.25m tall the parasol has an easy wind mechanism and can also be easily tilted. The aluminium frame and polyester canopy in stone colour, is shower resistant and has a UV50+ sun protection rating. A base is also available which weighs 32kg, providing stable support for the canopy.

This new handcrafted traditional furniture collection is a blend of style and practicality, manufactured to the same high quality as our popular Southwold range, but with the added function of being able to fold the furniture to make it easier to move and store.
Timeless Elegance
The range is inspired by traditional blacksmith furniture which became popular at the start of the industrial revolution over 200 years ago. Many of the shapes, forms and general look and feel quote directly from this heritage.
Enduring Comfort
Where our designs differ from tradition however, is the depth of study and care we have taken to ensure that our furniture is as much comfortable as beautiful. Much thought has gone into the ergonomics of the seat designs and careful selection of material section and thickness to ensure just the right amount of 'give' is coupled with the required structural strength. The chair designs for example use a range of thicknesses of strip steel depending on the design need. The legs use 6mm thick strip for strength and rigidity whereas the seat base and back rest use 3mm slats to give comfort and spring to the seat. Cushions can be ordered with your furniture for ultimate comfort but we are confident that even without padding our chairs will be kind to your behind.

Due to the handmade nature of the products all pieces are unique, these slight differences add up to sets of furniture with real soul and charm in a world of mass produced conformity. Every item in the collection undergoes a meticulous finishing process to ensure outstanding durability. Before final finishing all of the products are galvanised, being coated in zinc which envelops the steel in a blanket of sacrificial rust protection. To complete the process, the furniture is then powder-coated at high temperatures in an elegant lichen green shade. This sophisticated yet timeless colour effortlessly complements both classic and modern garden settings. If you live in a coastal area, please note that the salty air can speed up the natural ageing process of metal surfaces. To help protect your furniture from potential corrosion, we recommend cleaning it more frequently to remove salt deposits and maintain its durability.
