These Allispacers are used with the Alliplugs to hold bubblewrap just the right distance clear of the glass to create an insulating air gap. Supplied in a pack of 50
Super Alliplugs are cleverly designed to simply fit into the channels in the aluminium framework of the greenhouse and lock into place, perfect for securing bubblewrap, polythene and shade netting in place inside the greenhouse. Allow 3 Alliplugs per glazing bar. Supplied in packs of 50.
Allispacers used with the Alliplugs the spacers help create an airgap between the glass and bubblewrap to create a double glazing effect. Supplied in packs of 50. Measures 4.5mm thick.
Corner Adaptors these are used with the Alliplugs to make fixing the bubblewrap around the corners of the greenhouse easier. Supplied in packs of 10.
Installation Advice - for Alliplugs only;
- Place the bubblewrap, polythene or shade netting against the aluminium greenhouse framework.
- Hold the green collar that comes with the Alliplug over the channel in the aluminium framework.
- Push the Alliplug through the green collar and material so that the lug fits into the channel in the aluminium framework.
- Twist the Alliplug to secure the material in place.
- The collar prevents the material from ripping during the twisting operation.
- Allow 3 alliplugs per glazing bar
Installing Allispacers with Alliplugs;
- Secure the Allispacers in the aluminium framework to begin with.
- Place the material over the end of the spacer creating an airgap with the glass.
- Hold the green collar over the end of the spacer.
- Push the Alliplug through the collar and twist to secure in place.
Installing Corner Adaptors with Alliplugs;
- Clip the adaptor on a corner bar so that it stands proud of the framework.
- As with the Allispacer above place the bubblewrap over the end of the adaptor.
- Hold the green collar over the end of the adaptor.
- Push the Alliplug through the collar and secure in place.
Top Tips:-
- For even better Greenhouse Insulation use the Alliplugs with the Allispacers - these give a 25mm airgap between the material and the glass creating a layer of air between the glass and material for a double glazing type effect.
- Use Corner adaptors for easier installation around the corners of the greenhouse.

Will Alliplugs and Allispacers fit my greenhouse?
They are designed specifically for aluminium greenhouses with an internal glazing/bolt channel.
They are not universal fittings and will not work in every type of greenhouse.
Alliplugs / Allispacers are suitable for:
- Aluminium greenhouses where:
- The inside of each glazing bar has a continuous groove/channel running up it (used for greenhouse bolts, crop bars, etc.).
- Glass or polycarbonate sheets are held in place by the frame and clips, but there is still a visible internal channel.
- Most “standard” aluminium greenhouse brands that accept typical greenhouse bolts in the glazing bars (the Alliplug twists into the same type of channel).
They are not suitable for:
- Wooden greenhouses – there is no aluminium glazing channel for the Alliplug to twist into.
- Plastic / resin mini-greenhouses or growhouses with tubular frames.
- Old or very lightweight frames where:
- The glazing is held only with external spring clips and
- There is no internal groove/channel visible in the aluminium.
- Frames with very narrow or unusual glazing systems where accessories that twist into the channel are not supported.
If your greenhouse does not have a proper glazing channel, these fixings will not be able to lock in place.
Simple 3-step compatibility check (before ordering)
You can add this as a bullet section on the product page:
1. Look inside the glazing bar
Stand inside your greenhouse and look at the vertical aluminium bars that hold the glass.
- You should see a small continuous groove/channel running up the bar.
- If the inside face is completely flat with no groove, Alliplugs will not fit.
2. Check for greenhouse bolts
Ask yourself: “Can I slide small greenhouse bolts into the glazing bar channel to fix shelves or staging?”
- If yes, Alliplugs are very likely to fit that same channel.
- If no, your frame may not support twist-lock fittings like Alliplugs.
3. Check your greenhouse type
- Good match: standard aluminium framed greenhouse.
- Not a match: wooden greenhouse, plastic-framed lean-to, pop-up or walk-in plastic greenhouse.
Product Reviews
Unable to turn them in the aluminium profile to lock them in place, tried on 2 other different greenhouses from different manufacturers, same issue! Perhaps harrod could provide sizes of the product or greenhouses/aluminium profiles that they're compatible with, so people don't waste their money.

Firstly I've got to say Harrods provide a brilliant service and even if there is a problem with a product, in my experience, they sort the problem quickly and without difficulty.
Now to the product.
The Alispacers are simple to fit and improve insulation properties of insulation by holding it away from the glass and frame of the greenhouse.
they also improve airflow between the glass and insulation and so cut down on condensation buildup on glass and insulation.
The insulation properties are dramatically improved when using this product.
