Growing Support Structure Wisteria
We were originally contacted for a request for a bespoke half pergola which was intended to be situated where a very big old wisteria was growing on a fence. Due to the weight of the wisteria it had periodically taken the fence down so the structure was meant to be a more robust permanent support structure.
2 details drawings were provided initially to us showing the basic shape and size the frame was required to be. As it needed to fit around current concrete steps and a path we requested that some photographs were sent in so we could visualise exactly where it needed to fit in. We proposed a design that fitted the brief and after some tweaking the design was confirmed and produced.
"When I first enquired about the service, I sent an email briefly describing what I needed and what it was for, and also some drawings to show how I would like the structure to look. I have a very big, old Wisteria growing on a fence. Unfortunately it periodically takes the fence down because it is too heavy...so I wanted to start again, this time with proper support next to the fence. It was quite a straight forward project and site. I was then asked to send a couple of photographs of the site, which I did. After we installed it I sent a photo of the completed pergola, together with a short message to say how happy I am to the made to measure team.
I have included a photo just to say how happy I am with my nice pergola! It looks fantastic, and once the wisteria has grown back and been trained onto it, I am sure it'll just look magnificent.
