Exactly the product we wanted - not easily available as many of their products aren't and completely unexpectedly the price was ?50 (about 40%) cheaper than the exact product on Amazon.

An RHS-endorsed product with a 30 year guarantee, assuming the manufacturer and I are still here in 2047, says a lot. The two-tone grey/green colour is great - well camouflaged unlike the bright yellow and green ones, so it can stay neatly coiled by a tap at the back of a border. 'Unstoppable' is true, but not such good news for those who, 100 metres from the tap, want to kink it to reposition a sprinkler! The removal of 25mm of the inner core to put fittings on is not easy unless you are a dentist, and no indication is given of what tool does it best, but it is a one-off job. Rating a hose on those criteria is not easy; water goes in one end and comes out the other! Great design but not easy to fit connectors. Overall I am very happy, having bought 200m and cut it into various lengths to reach all parts of my garden without having to lug hoses around. I have several standpipes connected by alkathene pipe underground, which I installed years ago. Why Harrods? Best price including delivery and previous good experiences.
