Good to find that we could get a replacement cylinder rather than having to buy a complete new unit.
The part arrived quickly and was easy to change.
I have a large Victorian Glass house with 4 large roof vents.
I have had Bayliss MK7 autovents fitted for the past 14 years.
They have always worked wel but they have been replaced once in that time.
Previously I purchased new, but this time I decided to fit replacement cylinders.
As the roof is high I removed the whole of the Autovent and fitted the replacement cylinder on the bench and then put it back.
It was a very easy task and when the other 2 cease to open the vents properly I will do the same again saving £20 per vent.
I would recommend this product to anyone who who is capable of using a spanner and a screwdriver.

The cylinder in the automatic openers doesn't seem to last all that long - perhaps three years.
They are easy to replace but cost anything from two thirds to half the cost of a new opener.
By the time you have paid for postage you might as well have bought a new fitting entirely.
For such a simple device I feel it is overpriced.
