From humble begins in deepest Sussex back in the 1840's, Victoria plums have risen to the top of the UK's plum popularity chart and our Organic Victoria Plum Trees allow you to grow and harvest these pale red skinned and yellow/green fleshed dessert plums in the comfort of your own garden - remember, you can't beat that just-picked taste!
Our Organic Victoria Plum Trees are ideal for fan training along a warm, south facing wall or fence and as we supply this popular variety as a bare-rooted maiden fruit tree, the intial fan training and pruning is simple. A heavy and reliable late-August cropper, Victoria plum trees are self fertile and can also be used to pollinate other plum varieties to good effect. Our Organic Victoria plum trees are raised on the moderately vigorous St Julien A rootstock which makes them ideal for bush tree type growing in gardens large and small.

Product Reviews
I am delighted with the plum tree which came on the day specified and was beautifully packed and is a lovely specimen. It has already been planted (with the addition of some micorhizal) so I am anticipating some lovely plums in about 4 years time and hope I live long enough to eat them!
Planting and Delivery Information
See our Guide to Successful Fruit Trees for more growing advice.
Planting - do not attempt to plant your fruit trees when the ground is frozen or waterlogged. The trees can be stored in their packaging in an outbuilding or garage for 2-3 days, or can be heeled into the soil where the ground is not as frozen. Alternatively, plant up in large pots or containers and ensure the roots have good contact with the soil.
