Heavy Duty Steel Fruit Cage

GDN-100
Blackmoor

"This Fruit Cage was planted in spring 2008. I have planted it with as many soft fruits as possible. It still looks a little sparce but this time next year I am sure it will look full up.

The cage is very sturdy and very easy to erect. Two of us put this up in a morning. Planted in the cage I have a row of Strawberries with 3 different varieties (3 x 10 plants), a row of raspberries with 3 varieties (3 x 10 plants) and a row of Redcurrants, Whitecurrants and Goosberries, all of which I shall train into cordons.

Against the sides of the cage I have planted some Blackberries, Loganberries and Tayberries. I also have some dwarf Apple, Pear, Cherry and Peach trees, a bed of Blueberries and Blackcurrants as well as a large Fig tree.

I have had a reasonable crop of Strawberries and Blueberries earlier this summer but shall have to wait for next summer for the first full crop."
