Made using quality Yorkshire clay the pots are fired using a process called vitrification which produces temperatures in excess of 1050^oC. This creates a blue core in the pot which is incredibly strong rendering the pots frostproof.

The small long tom terracotta pot is perfect for flowers, shrubs, ornamental trees, herbs and even vegetable growing and the drainage hole in the base prevents any waterlogging.

The lifetime pledge guarantees resilience to temperatures of minus 15°c and offers all-year peace of mind. The contrast is with imported pots, many of which are sold as ‘frost resistant’, despite being manufactured in warmer climates which do not prepare them for harsh winters.

The Yorkshire Flowerpots ‘Last a Lifetime’ guarantee refers to frost damage (not breakages caused by dropping etc.) and is applicable for a period of 50 years. Any pots found to be damaged by frost within this period will be replaced not credited. A photo of the damaged pot must be supplied.

These pots look spectacular - all my neighbours have commented on the beautiful display. I have all three sizes which did make for a heavy delivery and the use of a pallet which I then had to dispose of, but it was worth that small inconvenience to see my plants so stylishly arrayed.
