Salvia Guarantica Black and Blue is a vigorous plant that originates from South America and produces purple-blue flowers with near-black calyces.
This attractive plant is also known as anise-scented sage and can reach heights of 2.5m (8ft). Hardy through most of the UK apart from inland valleys, at altitude and central/northerly locations. May suffer foliage damage and stem dieback in harsh winters in cold gardens. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -10°C (14°F).
