Worms for Christmas

If I was to order some more composting worms, how long can I keep them in the packaging in which they're sent?  We're thinking of getting some more as a Christmas present.

I can confirm that these creatures can live for between 3 and 4 days in their packaging if kept in a cool place.   Hopefully this information is of help and will enable you to plan your orders in the future.
