Yes I have 8! This augments my other two Seeboer pointed blade spades which are great for cultivation but they don't lift soil. This is a nice spade not too big but I don't care. It also has boot plates, you don't get these on many stainless steel blades.
After lots of poor ladies spades this is a good one, you get what you pay for !!
Both these items are wonderful. I can dig down much further with far less effort due to the length of the handles and the shape of the blade. The shoulders on the spade are very comfortable and enable me to work my allotment without being exhausted
What The Press Say
Pick of the Crop
"When undertaking small-scale digging tasks, heavy-duty spades can sometimes feel a little cumbersome which is why it's always very important to have a good-quality lightweight spade to hand as well. Despite its rather specific name, this stainless steel blade is suitable for gardeners of both sexes and perfectly suited to a range of gardening tasks including digging veg borders, excavating trenches and slicing through turf"
Digging the Dirt - Joyce Russell puts digging tools to the test
Well-made tool designed to last (and pass on to future generations). I like the look of this : with simple materials and strong build quality. A bit on the heavy side due to the thickness of the stainless steel in the head. May not be suitable for elderly gardeners. The small head is good for fiddly and tidy work. The long handle and shoe treads suit me well.
