At last, a Mercury Free Max-Min thermometer - it will record the maximum and minimum temperature achieved during a period on a digital display in ºC and ºF, whilst allowing you to read the current temperature too.

• If you’re serious about seed sowing, its time to get a thermometer. It’s easy to be tricked by early warm weather in spring, only for temperatures to fall sharply at night.
• A max/min thermometer does just what it says – it tells you the maximum and minimum temperatures experienced since you last zeroed the scores, by pushing markers to either limit.
• 1 x AAA battery required (not supplied)
What the experts say...
A traditional thermometer, updated with a digital screen showing the recorded max/min temperatures. I liked the fact that there are two clear and easy to read scales for centigrade and Fahrenheit.
It was easy to hang as I could see the hook I was fixing it to when mounting. Thermometers should be positioned out of direct sunlight but this one has a helpful hood to shade the scale, just in case the sunlight catches it.
It was useful having the max/min temperatures displayed on the digital screens without having to press a button and then alternate between centigrade and Fahrenheit. Another button cleared the reading to reset.
An attractive and useful thermometer.

The Easy to Grow Kit is a low maintenance growing system for tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, gravity fed from a 47 litre reservoir tank, simply top up every few weeks and add feed. The AQUAvalve ensures water is drawn from the reservoir into the porous tray section to feed potted plants. It will drain fully before refilling, thereby closer imitating natural ‘flood and drain’ watering for optimum yields. A 2 pot extension unit is also available.
