The Easy to Grow Kit is a low maintenance growing system for tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, gravity fed from a 47 litre reservoir tank, simply top up every few weeks and add feed. The AQUAvalve ensures water is drawn from the reservoir into the porous tray section to feed potted plants. It will drain fully before refilling, thereby closer imitating natural ‘flood and drain’ watering for optimum yields. A 2 pot extension unit is also available.
• Kit contains: 1 x tank measuring 38cm/15” W x 28cm/11” D x 57cm/22” H • 1 x AQUAvalve • 2 x 8.5 litre pots measuring 25cm/10” s.q. x 22cm/8.5” H • 1 x tray • Irrigation pipe • 'In line’ water filter • root control disks • Suitable for use with liquid feeds (carefully follow recommended dilution rates) • Plant supports not included • Extension kit contains Aquavalve, 2 pots, tray, irrigation pipe and 'T' connector - you can attach a maximum of 6 pots at any one time to the tank
"If you want to cut down on the chore of greenhouse watering, this kit could be the answer. Fill the 47 litre tank with water (and liquid feed, if you want to add that as well) and the 'Aquavalve', irrigation pipe and a water filter for your £30, plus you can also buy extension kits. The fact that you don't need electricity or mains water is a bonus." Buyers' Guide, Garden News, 18 June 2008
