What is MasterCard
SecureCode and Verified by Visa window that pops up?
Same card, added safety

MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by
Visa is a new online security service to guard you against
unauthorised use of you card and lets you shop online with
added confidence.
During the
checkout process, a MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa
window will popup. You then enter your password and this
confirms your identity.
If you
haven’t already setup a password for Mastercard SecureCode or
Verified by Visa, a MasterCard SecureCode window will appear.
You then need to register your card just once, and create your own
password.
Then, when
you make purchases at participating online stores, a MasterCard
SecureCode window will appear. Simply enter your password and
clicks submit. Your identity is verified and the purchase is
secure.
If you are
using the new Visa debit cards - please select Visa_Debit from the
list not Maestro.
Please note; we
do not accept American Express and
EDC Cards.

If you
would prefer to make your payments by cheque simply print off
the Mail Order
Form, complete and
attach to your payment.
Please
note; it is Company Policy not to take any payment until the
day your goods are dispatched. Cheques will be deposited
immediately.
If for any reason you need
to cancel your order, please advise us immediately. If your order
has already been dispatched we require notice of cancellation
within 7 days of receipt of goods for us to offer you a full
refund.
Exceptions: engraved tools and
netting sold by the square metre are non-returnable items and
exempt from cancellation.
SECURITY
You can be
assured that all credit card transactions conducted on this website
are both secure and protected. Our site is only secure if you use
the correct shopping process. Do not under any circumstances e-mail
your credit card details to Harrod UK as transmitting your details
by this method may not be secure.
PRIVACY
So that we
can keep you informed about the latest new products and special
offers we will need to retain information given by yourselves
when you order, register or enter a competition or prize draw. If
you do not want this information retained by us please notify us
at customerservices@harrod.uk.com or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the
page.
If you
have any queries relating to privacy matters you can

happy to discuss these with you.
We occasionally
make names available to other companies whose products we think may
be of interest to Harrod Horticultural customers if this has been
previously agreed on registration.

DELIVERY
Stock permitting, standard delivery items
are dispatched within 3 to 5 working days of
your order being confirmed. This timescale excludes Fruit and
Vegetable Cages, Raised Beds, Netting and Staging, for which
you should allow 10 to14 days. Please note our
busiest period is between February and May so your
patience during this time is appreciated.
Express Orders received by 12.30pm are dispatched
within the next two working days subject to stock
availability.
Exceptions
Unfortunately, there are some products we
are unable to send on Express Delivery. If your
order includes Netting, Fruit Cages, Greenhouse Staging,
Engraved Trowels, Biological (live) Pest Control Products,
Rolawn Topsoil and any Terracotta items, such as pots and
rhubarb forcers, we won't be able to process your order at the
Express
rate.
Where possible, when our normal dispatch is affected by
Industrial Actions or similar event beyond our control, we
will endeavour to send your goods by an alternative carrier.
For
all orders over £50 a delivery signature is normally required.
However, if your order totals over £50 but you would like your
goods to be left without a signature, please contact us with
written confirmation (e-mail, fax or letter - or indicate this
fact in the relevant field when ordering online) that this is
acceptable and the location in which you wish the goods to be left.
We cannot accept any responsibility for goods once they have
been left under these circumstances but we will be able to
replace damaged products as per our normal terms and
conditions.

Exceptions
Prices quoted
are for most UK mainland addresses.
Delivery to
parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the
Scottish Isles and Highlands, Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man
and the Isle of Wight may incur an extra charge and standard
delivery could be £14.95.
Where an extra
charge does apply, we will contact you with a specific quote for
your area. Should the charge to the above delivery areas be
less than £14.95, we will again contact you with the lower
charge.
Please
note we
are only able to send our biological pest control
products - such as Nemaslug, whitefly control and ladybirds - to
mainland UK
addresses.
RETURNS
AND EXCHANGES
We want
you to be delighted with your order so if for any reason you are
unhappy with your items, you can return them in perfect condition
and in their original packaging within 14 days for a full
replacement or a full refund. Before returning any product, please
contact our Returns Department at returns@harrod.uk.com or call on 01502
505320 to obtain your essential returns
reference number. Return postage will only be refunded if
the item is damaged, faulty or if the wrong items have been sent.
We do not accept responsibility for damaged or lost parcels on
return.
GUARANTEE
If for any
reason you are not satisfied with any item you order from Harrod
Horticultural, just return it to us within 14 days of receipt
for an immediate replacement or a full refund (see Returns and
Exchanges above for details). This guarantee does not affect your
statutory rights.

COMPLAINTS
PROCEDURE
We handle all
complaints fairly, effectively and confidentially. Any complaint
via telephone, fax or e-mail is answered as quickly as
possible. Any complaint letter we
receive is acknowledged immediately - by telephone if a
number is quoted - and we aim to resolve all complaints within 5
working days.
