The Easy to Grow Kit is a low maintenance growing system for tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, gravity fed from a 47 litre reservoir tank, simply top up every few weeks and add feed. The AQUAvalve ensures water is drawn from the reservoir into the porous tray section to feed potted plants. It will drain fully before refilling, thereby closer imitating natural ‘flood and drain’ watering for optimum yields. A 2 pot extension unit is also available.
Use these Watering Trays and Matting with either of our plug plant trays, where the capillary matting can absorb up to half a pint of water to keep plants moist longer. The black shuttle trays simply sit in the watering tray in contact with the damp capillary matting for a partly automated watering system - you still need to top up the trays as the matting dries out. Each plastic tray measures 55cm x 30cm and is supplied with an appropriately sized sheet of capillary matting.

Self Watering Tray Kits contain a black plastic water reservoir, an aluminium insert to create a raised flat surface and capillary matting - they can keep your plants watered in the greenhouse for up to two weeks depending on the type and quantity of plants and are available in three sizes.
The Big Drippa is a simple drip water system that can easily be installed into any greenhouse, the kit contains six drip valves that can all be regulated, 5 metres of black tubing and a large 10 litre water bag. Gives your plants up to 20 hours of slow and effecient watering.
Capillary matting allows the process of capillary watering to occur, which provides plants with water through the base of their containers, via the natural capillary action of the compost. The matting can be used with our staging trays to deliver water evenly over the whole area. When used with our Water Tub reservoir or our Big Drippa watering system plants can be kept watered for long periods. Matting can be used either way up; the dark grey side hides soil spills and attracts the sun's warmth in the cooler months; the white side will reflect more light, particularly beneficial for light sensitive plants in the height of summer.
Supplied with an aluminium lid to reduce evaporation and prevents algae growth. A capillary wick is supplied to draw the water from the reservoir onto the matting. This is an ideal accessory for watering plants with capillary matting, the container just needs to be kept topped up.
