Vermiculite has been used by plantsmen, propagators, growers and gardeners for decades and our standard Vermiculite and Fine Grade Vermiculite will allow you to improve your seed sowing germination rates and give your seed and potting compost mixes the edge.

Supplied in easily manageable re-sealable bags, both grades of vermiculite - a naturally occuring non-toxic mineral - will benefit seeds and seedlings; the standard is ideal for mixing with seed sowing and potting composts where it absorbs nutrients and moisture before releasing them near the rootzone, whilst the fine grade is perfectly suited for raising and covering smaller seeds where damaging soil temperature fluctuations are kept to minimum. Simply mix the vermiculite with potting compost, use exclusively as a seed sowing medium or cover your seeds after sowing and just watch the results!

Perlite - those little white bits you find in all the best composts - allows you to achieve those fluffy potting compost mixes, full of air spaces and retained moisture, you've always dreamed of and will give your greenhouse seed sowing and growing activities a real leg-up.

Here's the science bit; perlite is natural volcanic rock which is heated to a high temperature to produce a lightweight micro-porous structure and this material proves ideal for holding air and moisture, reducing compaction and generally giving your plants the time of their lives! Perlite is a must for any greenhouse grower, novice or serious, and the re-sealable bag this most useful of compost additives comes in helps to prevent the contents becoming prematurely damp. Simply mix perlite with any potting mix and reap the benefits!

Our Greenhouse Door Wheels consist of two long lasting nylon greenhouse door wheels with heavy duty steel bearings and two reliable aluminium nuts and bolts with each wheel measuring 32mm in diameter - the perfect size for most greenhouse sliding doors.

In the unlikely event that the greenhouse wheels don't fit your greenhouse, the door can be re-drilled and the wheels re-positioned; ideal if existing wheels are of a different size.

Super Alliplugs are a quick effective method for fixing bubble insulation, polythene or shading to the interiors of aluminium greenhouses, the collar prevents the material from ripping during the twisting operation. Greenhouse insulation will help to keep an unheated greenhouse frost free and will greatly reduce fuel consumption in heated greenhouses saving approx 30% on fuel costs

These allispacers are to be used with Alliplugs as detailed to create a 25mm insulating air gap.
