We installed this Indoor Pest Stop in our utility room where we were fighting a losing battle with house mice and wood mice, who were eating through the thick plastic storeage boxes where we kept our dog and rabbit food. Within 3 days of installing the Pest Stop, evidence of the mice's activitites disappeared. No droppings and no chewed plastic. The mice were getting into the Utility room via the gap under our dishwasher and then running around the edge of the kitchen into the utility room - we knew because of the trail of droppings - yuck! We decided on a humane deterrent because we hate killing anything and of course if the mice die under the house then you have to cope with the smell of decaying corpses. Not nice, particularly in summer, where the bodies attract flies and then you have a plague of flies to cope with. We have a dog and the pest stop does not bother her at all, although we switch it off if we bring our pet rabbits into the house. Very pleased with the product
