Raspberries are a really popular fruit, high in fibre and an excellent source of vitamin C, folic acid, iron, magnesium and potassium.
Our selection of raspberry canes have been carefully chosen for their good flavour and will fruit for ten to twelve years before they need to be replaced.
The gooseberry is the first fruit of the season and should be thinned in late May and the thinnings used for cooking. The remainder should be left to swell to near to full size to fully appreciate a gooseberry as a fine sweet dessert fruit.
With shop bought fruit being expensive, these are both ideal fruit to grow at home and will grow almost anywhere as long as they are planted on a well drained soil.
