School Gardens

Remember my recent post (July 27th) on school dinners and the way some go-ahead seats of learning were growing their own produce in school gardens?

If not, it's here - and I've uncovered some more information on the subject, this time from Lancashire.

However, not all the fruit and veg grown by these enterprising pupils is destined for the cooking pot, as this report reveals.

Whatever the reason for schools taking the plunge and setting up their own garden, it's a clear indication that growing your own veg is popular across the board!
