Sustainable Gardening

The Royal Horticultural Society's garden at Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire is the venue for a 6-day Sustainable Gardening event in June.

This is the latest in a packed diary of events at the 17.5 hectare garden on the outskirts of Harrogate, and runs from Tuesday June 26th to the 8th of July, a Sunday.

Debbie Lawton, the Events Co-ordinator at the site, explained the objectives of this latest event and what visitors could expect to find. "Our annual Sustainable Gardening event will consist of displays and information to help visitors find out about the gardening techniques and practices that can help you garden in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way," she said. "It will also promote the work currently being done by the RHS."

Full details of the event, including opening times and admission charges, can be found on the RHS website - and don't forget to pick up a Harrod Horticultural catalogue!
