Fruit Trees

My latest horticultural jaunt was a short-haul journey through Suffolk to the fruit tree specialists at Crown Nursery, situated in the village of Ufford near Ipswich.

I popped in to drop off some composting products for the forthcoming Compost Day event, organised by the local Women's Institute and scheduled for May 23rd. I'll be producing a report on the Compost Day with a full feature on the nursery in due course, but in the meantime I'd urge you keep the 12th or 13th May - or both - free, as the nursery are holding an Open Weekend.

A full programme of tours, demonstrations and expert advice is planned with loads of special offers on the fantastic range of trees and shrubs the nursery propagate - full details can be found on the Crown Nursery website.
