Organic Growing

There are more and more fruit and veg gardeners keen to enjoy the benefits that organic growing can bring.

It's clear that consumers are coming round to the full and intense flavour typical of organically grown fruit and veg, and allotment holders and gardeners are also keen to self-provide in the same way.

Here at Harrod Horticultural, we've always followed the organic path in our own Kitchen Garden http://www.harrodhorticultural.com/HarrodSite/news/Kitchen+Garden/ and our range of products reflects this approach.

Educational and hands-on courses, such as the one featured here, http://www.herald24.co.uk/content/herald/news/story.aspx?brand=EHHOnline&category=NewsEastHerts&tBrand=herts24&tCategory=newsehhnew&itemid=WEED01%20Mar%202007%2012%3A32%3A44%3A240 are proving extremely popular and are often over-subscribed.

It's well worth checking your local press for news of any upcoming courses or schemes - unless of course you are lucky enough to live in the East Hertfordshire area, where we've done it for you! - and both the RHS http://www.rhs.org.uk/ and HDRA http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/ run a comprehensive programme of educational events.
