Organic Gardening with Bob Flowerdew

Did you catch Bob's "6 Easy Steps to Going Organic" article in the February edition of Gardener's World magazine? http://www.gardenersworld.com/

Bob's a real stalwart of the organic movement and it's great to see how enthusiastic he is about the whole subject - and let's be honest, anything that reduces the size of the huge footprint we're leaving on the planet can only be good.

In fact, my favourite part of his article is where he says "remember to make time to settle back on a comfortable bench and observe...bees and butterflies pollinating flowers, birds and wasps eating aphids and caterpillars" - just great!

And of course, we here at Harrod Horticultural have long been championing organic gardening, and supply the organic pest control sprays and biological predators Bob refers to; http://www.harrodhorticultural.com/HarrodSite/category/Pest+Control/

Bob's also part of the furniture on BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time, which you can hear every Sunday at 2pm or Wednesday at 3pm on 92-95 FM or 198 LW. No radio? Try this; http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/gqt/

Bob has more than a few fans out there in blog-land. I count myself among them. I'm sure he would agree with my veggies-only policy - after all, "you can't eat flowers"
