Spider mite making me see red

Answered by Julian Posted in Category Pest Control & Nature

If you have webs on the plant that means you have very high numbers of spider mite already. This can make it very difficult for the spider mite predators to catch up in time. So I would suggest you use a "safe" spray first like Savona. This is a fatty acid soap that kills the spider mite on contact, spray this twice with an interval of 5-7 days.

If there are spiders left after this, you could then apply some Spider mite killer predators to mop up the survivors or you could continue with Savona sprays until the infestation is cured.

I hope this helps.
