I use this fork day in virtually every day and it never fails to please me. The long handle gives extra leverage when needed and the extra torque generated when twisting removes weeds with a lot less effort. It is an absolute pleasure to use tools of this quality
Over the years I have accumulated quite a few and very few of them have been successful on the heavy wet stony clay which quickly transforms to solid concrete in the late Spring. I have reached my late sixties and have been forced to admit that if I want to continue to garden then the macho days of lifting heavy forkfuls are over. This fork is beautifully constructed, has flattened tines which I like, as it can double as a spade on wet soil and will lift root vegetables without damage. The tines are shorter than on most forks so you are not lifting more than you should!
