Roman Arches Linked & Open Side

"We own a country garden situated on south-west facing hill in small village in the county of Bedfordshire. The project involved a complete renovation of the site, following extensive building works to our home. Due to the slope of the hill, we had to create different levels of paving in order to break-up the overall gradient of the garden and therefore needed an elegant link between these areas. We had already seen the effectiveness of linking arches in the Harrods publication, but required that our arches be bespoke, as we wanted to maintain access to the lawn through one side of the arch, creating a crossroads within the garden. In addition, the arches not only had to be elegant but robust, as despite the beautiful views, the location of the site meant exposure from severe weather conditions.

Having provided Harrod Horticultural with our brief and the requisite measurements, the design team delivered the perfect feature for our garden.  

Prior to the product being delivered, we had a number of conversations with the design team, who were extremely helpful. The plan provided with the arch was excellent and easy to understand, making the construction of the arch a simple task. It met all our expectations and we have received many compliments about it since.
