Pre-Order Fruit Trees for Delivery from November

despatched in bare-root form between November and March.

Grown on a St Julien A rootstock, the moderately vigorous blue tit plum trees are likely to reach a size between 3.6 and 5.5m metres, a far cry from the easy to care for and plant maidens they are supplied as. Blue tit plums are juicy and well flavoured, the yellow flesh contrasts well with the blue skin and crops - expect to harvest in mid-August - are heavy and reliable. A great variety for the garden, organic blue tit trees are self fertile and although you only need one, you'll probably want more!

Planting and Delivery Information

Planting
-
do not attempt to plant your fruit trees when the ground is frozen or waterlogged. The trees can be stored in their packaging in an outbuilding or garage for 2-3 days, or can be heeled into the soil where the ground is not as frozen. Alternatively, plant up in large pots or containers and ensure the roots have good contact with the soil.
