Great little bin. Beats plastic bags anyday. Need a better source of paper bags though
Our local council have recently introduced the collection of waste food and so I needed to get a compost bin. The majority are ugly and, as it was going to be on display, I wanted something which was attractive to look at. I am so pleased with this item as it has a lovely retro look and looks stylish on my worktop - far better than hideous plastic equivalents that most shops sell. It's easy to clean (I line it with a sheet of newspaper and use a compostable bag) and holds loads. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I used to have one of those dark green carry bins for my kitchen waste - it was unsightly and smelly. So I searched the internet for a nicer version - and this bin was definitely the best. It looks gorgeous (it has been admired by many of my visitors) and does not let any smells out. It is larger than my previous bin so I was worried that it would become smelly but it really hasn't - and it obviously means that I don't need to empty it as often. I would very highly recommend this item and Harrod Horticultural was the best price on the net (and fantastic service too)
