Fruit Cage Steel Wall Fixed Tall

"I would probably recommend Harrod as most of the products are very good quality and a competitive price."

"Background - We inherited a large fruit cage, in part of an acre walled garden, which was in an overgrown and dilapidated condition. We wanted a smaller fruit cage to form an L shape around the walls. The challenges were that the land sloped in all directions and as a consequence the wall appeared to also be of different heights. Also the angle of the two walls was not quite a right angle. I chose Harrod Horticultural to buy my fruit cage from because on research I considered them to have the most robust and easy to assemble product on the market.

There were many exchanges of email during the design stage and the final design approved. I would have preferred a site visit to overcome the height differentials but was it wasn't possible at this time.

The parts arrived superbly wrapped and labelled with a very helpful delivery driver. Before assembling we decided that given the heavy clay soil with local stone buried in places, that the use of the steel ground sockets would help. The installation had very few problems but the final cage is too high in places, perhaps could have been avoided with a site visit.

The overall impression of the cage is very good. I would probably recommend Harrod as most of the products are very good quality and a competitive price."
