Product Reviews
I purchase several sizes of these and within a year they had de-graded to bits. They were replaced free of charge because they were under one year old however the replacements have de-graded too and they cannot be used this year, Waste of money
This is the second order for Frost Cloches I have placed. They are easy to use, very effective in the North West of England and have saved many plants when extreme weather was forecast. Would recommend them to everyone.
It is too early to judge the protection given by the cloches as until a few days ago there had been no serious frost. They are easy to use, but the loops for pins should be shorter and the retaining arm on the pins longer as in windy conditions the loops can detach from the pins even when those are properly driven into the ground. The plastic supports are not strong enough to withstand strong winds; one of mine snapped and pierced the fleece even though not in direct line of the wind. A potentially great, if expensive, product which needs a bit of improvement to be worthwhile.
