Product Reviews
Great idea but unfortunately we put it all together, filled it up, then found it had a leak!! It then had to be emptied again!! Not the best advert for it. Harrod were very understanding and refunded our money. It may have been a one off but I would think again before purchasing another.
Our twice Daily Express-published horticulturist Martin Fiddes says; "Although at first glance folding or collapsible water butts may look a fad, they do in fact have an important role to play in the garden.
"Relatively inexpensive to purchase, these temporary water butts can be used as a reservoir when your existing water butts are full to overflowing - no gardener wants to see valuable rainwater wasted - and can even be filled from the outside tap when a hosepipe ban is imminent.
"You can also position these butts where you want instead of being restricted by a downpipe which means watering vegetables and ornamentals by watering can is quick and easy and doesn't entail a trek from one end of the garden to the other.
"You can also place the folding water butt on a stand to increase the pressure, opening up the opportunity to run a soaker hose or similar irrigation kit from the supplied tap.
"With the unpredictable nature of our climate and the threat of a hosepipe ban never far away, it's a great time to invest in one of these folding butts."
