Each durable polyethylene Potato Patio Planter is the ideal solution for tight spaces, is easy to use, has built in drainage holes to avoid waterlogging, has convenient carrying handles and is re-usable.

• Sold in sets of 3
• 40 litre capacity
• Measures 45cm high and 35cm in diameter
• Large enough to plant 3 - 5 tubers
• Perfect for patios or courtyards

"This set of three reusable bags is for cropping potatoes anywhere from a patio to a balcony.
Made of a green interwoven polypropylene, the material is thick and has a waxy sheen to the outside. the carry handles allow you to start off tubers in a frost-free place then reposition in their final positions - ideal if it's first earlies you're growing.
I liked the large drainage holes reinforced with gold eyelets. This is a particularly good feature as waterlogged conditions will quickly rot tubers.
The good thing about having three bags is that it allows you to stagger planting by 4-6 weeks thus extending the cropping season as well as giving you the opportunity of trying different varieties... A sealable carry bag was supplied and the bags fold flat for easy storage."

Get even more from your Potato Planter - here's how...

  • Easy to use over and over again, each planter holds about 40 litres of compost and is suitable for between 3 to 5 seed potatoes. Made from a tough woven polyethylene, they have reinforced drainage holes at the base, can be easily moved using the handles on each side and come complete with detailed growing instructions.

  • They come in packs of three, so by planting at 4 to 6 week intervals you can spread your harvest over an extended period. Even better, there is no need to do any digging –when they are ready, simply remove a few at a time or tip the planter out and enjoy the real taste of home-grown spuds.
