• Each 35 litre bag is filled with Medwyn’s gold medal winning compost formulations to produce optimum crops

• Bags are simply split growbag fashion, stood on end (depending on crop) or emptied into pots, and are especially suitable for patios, balconies and small gardens.
• An easy way to get the family in the great outdoors and get them involved in growing their own veg
• The 'grow in a bag' concept also ensures your crop is less susceptible to slugs and other soil pests

"An exciting new range of growing bags aimed at veg growers has been launched... and each is filed with 35 litres of a special compost formulation, as used by Chelsea Gold Medallist and KG columnist, Medwyn Williams. The bags can either be placed on their end and planted up to give a very deep root run or laid on their side like growing bags or emptied into pots. They are perfect for small gardens or placing on a patio or balcony. There are five different grow bags including potato, strawberry, tomato, pepper/chilli and salad. Each with a unique compost formulation to produce the optimum crops." 'News', Kitchen Garden magazine, April 2008

“If you have a few on the go at once, you can plant at intervals and spread the yield throughout the season”. Medwyn Williams, Multi Gold Medallist at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Horticulture Week voted this 'Best New Product for the Amateur Gardener'

"This new product range hits its target because it's easy for the beginner to use."

Julia Heaton, Consumer Editor from Amateur Gardening magazine talks about these growbags in her 'What's New' section:

Growbags are not exactly new... they've been around for 40 years. But the range of organic vegetable growbags from Humax is new.

Each bag is filled with 35 litres of Medwyn's gold medal-winning compost formulations aimed at producing top crops of fruit and vegetables. A handy planting guide is printed on each bag.

You can either stand the bags on end, or lay them flat (depending on the crop). Or you can empty the bag's contents into pots.

The bags are perfect for patios, balconies and small gardens where space is tight.

There are different bags for growing potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers or chillies and salads.

The bags won several awards at trade shows in 2007, so their future looks assured.
