"A versatile support system in that the loop stakes alone can be linked to restrain a wide variety of single-stemmed or clump-forming perennials. My peony, which had grown too tall for a ring frame, could be supported by a triangle arrangement using six of the 2ft (60cm) stakes. With the addition of the loop rings, you can use the stakes individually to support single-stemmed plants like lilies and gladioli.
The loop was easy to attach to the stake as the wire is pre-coiled and made a 3.5in (9cm) circle around a delphinium stem. The bonus was that the loop ring could be easily adjusted in height. So these are useful items to have to take you through the whole season. I also liked the curved top to the stakes (not shown) to prevent eye injury. Available in a choice of lengths, they're very strong and well made."
