Undeniably cute but a ferocious riverbank pest, mink can be humanely trapped and the threat to your garden pond fish - along with native British mammals and small birds - can be removed with help from the Mink Trap.
The 77cm long by 16cm wide by 14cm high, tough, galvanised wire trap is perfectly proportioned to live-catch mink - introduced from America in the 1920's and now commonplace around rivers, marshes and lakes - and other similar sized pests. The Mink Trap features a sprung door at each end, carrying handle and a bait plate and the trap sensitivity is easily adjustable. Bait the Mink Trap with fish and position near water for best results.

Although we supply the traps and can deal with any technical or manufacturing questions, we do not have the expertise to advise on the humane disposal of trapped animals. We would recommend you contact
DEFRA or the
RSPCA as they should be able to give a definitive humane disposal method of trapped animals which meets any current legislation in place.
