The 252 plants in the collection (all delivered measuring approximately 10cm/4" in height and ready to plant) will fit in five to six 1.2m x 2.4m (4'x 8') raised beds and the task of caring for this organic vegetable production line - featuring such luminaries as peas, beans, onions, cabbages, sweetcorn and tomatoes - is made easier with the provision of an instruction booklet, but you'll find that the effort is more than worth it! At a rough estimate, this super-sized garden could save you up to £500 on supermarket-bought organic produce and don't be out off if you just don't have the space; many of these plants can be successfully raised in containers, pots and growbags. Once you've built your raised bed, you might think the hard work is over - but actually filling it with a suitable mix of soil and organic matter which will give your veg plants every chance of making it to the kitchen table is the difficult part. That's why we've teamed up with Rolawn, the country's leading supplier of topsoil, to bring you four high quality peat-free soil mixes to cover not just your raised bed requirements but all your general gardening needs. Choose from the Blended Loam, Vegetable and Fruit Topsoil, Soil Improver and Multi-Purpose Compost (all supplied in 1000 litre bags which, in the case of the loam and topsoil, contain up to 50% more product than 1 tonne of ordinary topsoil) recipes to give beds, borders, vegetable patches a real boost.

The four types available are:
Blended Loam Topsoil - a high quality, fertile, environmentally friendly, organic, rich multi-purpose topsoil. It is a blend of Rolawn Screened Loam and peat free soil conditioner. It is ideal for using in planting and landscaping where a quality outcome is essential.

Vegetable and Fruit Topsoil - a blend of peat-free topsoil, derived from prime arable land and organic matter and perfect for growing fruit and vegetables. You can plant directly into it and the mix is fertile, organic rich and friable and does not contain variable, and potentially harmful, manures.

Soil Improver - almost guaranteed to breathe life into the most tired of soils. The peat-free Improver combines shredded straw with iron minerals and will invigorate soil by adding matter to the structure and increasing the soil's capacity to retain both air and moisture - which results in healthy plant growth.

Organic Multi-Purpose Compost - Perfect for sowing seeds, cuttings, hanging baskets and containers. Made from 100% natural ingredients and with a pH of 7.0.

Delivery Information - orders are despatched directly from Rolawn, you will be contacted directly by Rolawn 2 working days before they deliver to arrange your delivery. Deliveries are made at kerbside but can be left on driveway etc at the discretion of the driver. Please allow 14 days for despatch if ordering with our raised beds.
