Growing Tips Rosemary can be tricky to raise from seed, so dedication may be required! Sow indoors from February up until the last frost (usually early to mid May depending on location) and try outside in a warm sunny location. Water sparingly as many seedlings can be killed off by overwatering and pick the leaves in spring and early summer for that fresh taste. Leaves can be dried or frozen for later use and prune hard if neccessary during the winter. Rosemary can grow for up to 20 years.
