Organic Rosemary Seeds
If you've only limited space in your grow your own herb garden, make sure you leave enough room for the delightfully scented needle-like leaves of rosemary; this popular herb is the perfect partner to roasted meat dishes including chicken, turkey and pork. Gardeners with an penchant for companion planting will be interested to hear that rosemary sits comfortably between kitchen garden mainstays including cabbages, beans and carrots and fortunately, their distinctive aroma is not appreciated by notorious pests such as cabbage white butterflies and carrot fly. Supplied in packets containing 50 organic seeds, this sun-loving, drought resistant evergreen (in mild areas!) shrub will bring colour to the garden througout the year and can even be trimmed into a hedge form. Ideal for container or pot growing within easy reach of the kitchen!

• Supplied in a packet of 50 organic seeds
• Leaves can be chopped and added to stuffing mixes or served as sprigs with chicken, turkey, pork or lamb
• Valuable companion plant
• Easy to maintain
• Great for growing in pots or containers on the patio
• Actually prefers poor quality light soils
• Tolerant of drought and flourishes in hot, sunny locations
• Low growing habit makes it ideal as a ground cover or hedge

Growing Tips
Rosemary can be tricky to raise from seed, so dedication may be required! Sow indoors from February up until the last frost (usually early to mid May depending on location) and try outside in a warm sunny location. Water sparingly as many seedlings can be killed off by overwatering and pick the leaves in spring and early summer for that fresh taste. Leaves can be dried or frozen for later use and prune hard if neccessary during the winter. Rosemary can grow for up to 20 years.
