Next time you move a sprig of garden-grown parsley to the side of your plate, consider the vitamins you're discarding - organic Moss Curled parsley contains large amounts of vitamins A, B and C and gives the immune system a real kick. Widely used as a garnish for a menu-full of meals, the plant - introduced to our neck of the woods by the Romans - is grown outside during the warmer months of the year and although the foliage dies back in autumn, it should re-emerge in spring. Alternatively, grow parsley on the kitchen windowsill and add the nutrient-packed leaves to dishes literally seconds before serving - and don't accept any plates back with it on the side!
