Used by 9 out of 10 groundsmen, greenkeepers and landscapers, Chelwood rakes have real pedigree. Both the 65cm and 1m wide polypropylene head versions are self-cleaning and feature back supports to allow leaves, grass and stones to build up on the rake and the 2cm gap between the teeth ensures not much gets through!
• Self-cleaning leaf and grass rake with back support to allow debris to build up on the rake
• When full, lift and turn and the debris will fall cleanly away from the rake into the wheelbarrow or trailer.
• Available in 65cm wide and 1m wide options, both have a 2cm gap between the teeth

What the experts say...
Made of 2mm thick polypropylene, this was the highest edging at 5.5in (14cm). It can be cut to fit, either straight or curved edges and its height allows it to retain an edge next to a path or drive. Positioning this edging was fairly straightforward, Gloves are a good idea as its got sharp bits. It comes with pins that are inserted into holes at the top of each A-shaped flap to secure into the lawn (the grass grows through it). I found my less than perfect lawn edge hindered fixing of this edging. In some places the levels dipped and the pins had no surface to key into… preparation is key to success.
