The Courtyard Composter/Wormery is a really flexible system that covers all the bases - use it as a standard composter; it easily transforms into a productive wormery (just add worms) and it takes up very little space.

The tough plywood construction and healthy 203 litre capacity (more stats below) will both encourage the composting process and protect any worms you wish to introduce - and measuring only 60cm deep, the Courtyard Composter/Wormery (which can be stained to suit your garden colour scheme) will sit easily in a confined courtyard or other location adjacent to the back door.

• Courtyard Composter/Wormery surface area is 3136cm2
• Measures 0.93m/3’ H x 0.6m/2’ x 0.6m/2’
• Tough plywood construction - designed in-house
• Will work as a compact compost bin or wormery for smaller gardens and households
• Not supplied with worms but available separately should you want to use the product as a wormery
• Attractive design ideal for situating near to the kitchen door
• Detailed assembly and operation instruction booklet included
• Can be stained as desired or left natural
• Fully slatted front for unrestricted access
• Hinged lid keeps heat and worms in and rain out
• Free draining base to allow air to circulate and excess liquid to drain
• Drip tray collects any excess liquid which makes a fantastic plant feed
• 5 year guarantee
• Wood used in construction obtained from a managed sustainable source

What The Experts Say...
"...So is it possible to make compost in a tiny garden, without having your space dominated by a bin? The answer is yes. I've got a worm bin that sits in a redundant corner outside my backdoor or you could choose something that won't stand out like a sore thumb. The Courtyard Composter from Harrod Horticultural is ideal - storing up to 203 litres of compost, it is a compact, acttractive bin that wouldn't look out of place on a patio." 'Compost Conundrum' Grow It magazine, August 2008
