Beehive Composter (Natural Finish)
Beehive Composter - A traditional Beehive shape composter made from 1" thick high quality Scots Pine from managed forests (FSC Certified), supplied fully assembled in a natural finish and perfect for composting in the smaller garden.

• The composter is made from pressure treated timber to prevent rot and insect damage
• Made up of sections, with each section resting on the next one down
• Ventilation is provided by air gaps at the top and bottom of the unit and at roughly 1/4 inch intervals between each section of the composter
• 1 inch feet on the open bottom also aid the circulation of air inside
• The hinged roof is held open on a sash cord leaving both hands free for loading.
• A door at the base can be lifted off to remove compost or individual sections can be lifted off to access lower layers.
• If all sections of the composter are removed this will leave almost a solid block of compost which can then be dug out with a spade
• Can also be used as an attractive storage unit to store garden tools, firewood or hide an unsightly waste bin
• Supplied in a natural finish (although you may wish to use a preparatory garden shades range of your own choosing to change the colour to suit your tastes)
• Size approx. 66cm x 66cm x 91cm high and an internal capacity of around 260 litres.

• Please note we cannot do Express Delivery on this item and allow 2 - 4 weeks for delivery.

"Q: ...I have only a very small garden I don't have much room available for a compost bin. If i get one of those big black bins it will be on view at all times, which isn't what I want to achieve... A: You could choose an attractive wooden bin such as the Beehive Composter from Harrod Horticultural..."
