Blackmoor Nurseries,
Hampshire
Sometimes there’s nothing like seeing garden products in situ
to really appreciate what they can add to your own garden
plans. It’s one of the reasons why we have supported a
variety of public gardens by supplying them with products to
display and use. This gives our customers up and down
the country an opportunity to have a close-up view of products such
as fruit and vegetable cages and raised beds before they buy.

Heavy Duty Steel Fruit Cage
GDN-100
"15th August 08 - This Fruit Cage was
planted this spring. I have planted it with as many soft fruits as
possible. It still looks a little sparce but this time next year I
am sure it will look full up.
The cage is very
sturdy and very easy to errect. Two of us put this up in a morning.
Planted in the cage I have a row of Strawberries with 3 different
varieties (3 x 10 plants). A row of raspberries with 3
varieties
(3 x 10 plants). A row of Redcurrants, Whitecurrants and
Goosberries, all of which I shall train into cordons. Against
the sides of the cage I have planted some Blackberries,
Loganberries and Tayberries. I also have some dwarf Apple, Pear,
Cherry and Peach trees. A bed of Blueberries and Blackcurrants as
well as a large Fig tree.
I have had a
reasonable crop of Strawberries and Blueberries earlier this
summer but shall have to wait for next summer for the first
full crop.
We shall update
the pictures as and when to show what is happening and how things
are progressing." - Jon Munday, Blackmoor Nurseries
