Water butt/raspberry
combo...!
Dear
Martin...
I have put a water butt next to where I am going to plant new raspberry canes. I am looking for soaker hose that I can attach to the butt to keep the canes watered when I am away. It would only need to be 5m long. Can you advise? Many Thanks Dave

Many thanks for your recent enquiry concerning the Soaker Hose we supply.
Unfortunately, the smallest section of hose we stock is 15m in length and is part of a kit which also includes end stops and various connectors.
However, the soaker hose can
easily be cut to the desired size with a pair of sharp scissors and
being of the same diameter as a standard hosepipe
(0.5”), is easily connected to the latter – this is
important when running a soaker hose from a water butt or mains tap
as the hose will seep water over its entire length, so depending on
the proximity of the water butt to the raspberry canes, you may
need to introduce a piece of hosepipe to the installation.
