Moths banned!

Dear Martin...

Can you recommend a suitable grease band for apple trees?

Thanks

Bill

Dear Bill

It looks like you want to halt the winter moth in it's tracks! We can help with this; we stock a glue band (don't worry about the description - glue and grease serve exactly the same purpose) which is designed to stop crawling insects – and the wingless female winter moth in particular – from reaching the tree’s branches where they lay eggs. You might see winter moths on a tree near you right now as it’s usually between October and December they make their bid for the top!

Best of luck!

Martin
