All the hours of hard work from over 40 members of
staff involved in preparing for and manning the Harrod
Horticultural RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010 trade stand has paid
off...
The award was presented to Harrod Horticultural Marketing Manager
Jon Couch at the show by the official RHS judging panel and is
the highest accolade that can be
achieved for a trade stand at
the Chelsea Show. Jon
commented; “we are delighted with this year’s award and
it pays testament to all the hours of hard work our staff have put

Home Grown Success!
The eye-catching Home Grown exhibit
was one of the highlights of a very well patronised 2010 RHS
Hampton Court Flower Show and Harrod Horticultural were extremely
proud that one of their Decorative Steel Fruit Cages and a
selection of Timber Raised Beds and Planters were included in the
garden layout.
Home Grown garden designers Gillian van der Meere, Mary Payne and
John Wheatley contacted the Lowestoft-based company with a view to
incorporating a fruit cage and raised beds into the Market Garden
area of their plan and the mouth-watering display of
Sallybright strawberries they created - along with a selection
of fruiting blueberry bushes - were well protected by the cage, wth
the raised beds and planters providing the perfect platform for a
selection of ready-to-pick
vegetables.
The strawberries -
and fruit cage - even received Royal Approval as Camilla
Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, entered the cage to sample
one of the delicious scarlet
berries!
