Potato Harvesting Scoop |
£14.95
No more stabbed spuds with the Potato Harvesting Scoop, a modern day take on the traditional potato 'grate' which combines that centuries-old design with 21st Century technology giving you an efficient and reliable aid to harvesting container and field grown potato tubers.
The effectiveness of the Potato Harvesting Scoop is based on the bar across the end of the tines which prevents the frustrating accidental stabbing of tubers - infuriating for gardeners - while the spacing and shape of the tines (2cm apart) allows potatoes to be sifted from the soil. Measuring 50cm overall and boasting a 15cm wide scoop, the Potato Harvesting Scoop is particularly adept at lifting container or planting bag-grown spuds but can also be used on outdoor crops if the soil is loosened beforehand. The Potato Harvesting Scoop is forged from stainless steel, has a hardwood handle and comes complete with an attractive leather hanging thong. |
