Timber Raised Beds - our range of Timber Raised Beds is for you if you're serious about your gardening and want your beds to look almost as good as your home-grown vegetables and herbs. We've researched, designed and manufactured a selection of beds to suit every garden and every budget; from our money-saving Allotment version - where prices start at a rock-bottom £12 - right up to our A-list Superior beds, which form a garden feature in themselves. Don't take our word for it - just ask the RHS, who have installed the Superior beds at their gardens in Wisley and at Harlow Carr.
We've even considered the lack of gardening space which plagues many would-be gardeners and introduced our Corner Raised Beds - now even the tightest, neglected section of the garden can be used in style for producing fresh, home-grown vegetables and herbs practically bursting with flavour!
And when you consider the quality and thickness of the wood our beds are made from; the effective preservative treatment we use (following consultation with Garden Organic) and the simple but highly effective designs we've come up with, we're sure our raised beds will elevate your growing - and garden - to another level.

Harrod Horticultural are already well known for their range of quality FSC timber raised beds, but now the Suffolk-based company has introduced two new models to its range, the Mini Raised Bed and the Corner Raised Bed. These can be used as stand-alone units or to complement the existing range, helping gardeners with limited space to make the most of the growing room they have available. Both designs are available in three finishes, Allotment, Standard and Superior, and are pressure-treated to promote a long, useful life. The three vary in their finish, fixings and heights.
The Mini Raised Bed measures 60cm (2ft) wide and can be up to 2.4m (8ft) in length. It has a maximum height of 81cm (32in). The Corner Raised Bed measures 122 x 122 x 172cm (4 x 4 x 5ft 8 in) and is available in a range of heights up to 61cm (24in).

There's always a corner of the garden that you can't quite squeeze a 'normal' square or rectangular veg-growing raised bed into, but that could all be about to change with these 122cm x 122cm x 172cm Corner Timber Raised Beds. Standard and Allotment designs are available in 3 convenient working heights (15cm/6"; 30cm/12" and 45cm/18") whilst the Superior versions also boast 3 tier options but are slightly higher (at 20cm/8", 40cm/16" and 61cm/24". And just like our main range of raised beds, the corner models are ideal for raising vegetables and herbs; are manufactured from the same FSC-rated Swedish timber; are pressure treated for a long and bountiful life and can be used with made to measure fitted mesh covers.

Standing 79cm (2'7") off the ground, the planter provides growing options that single level raised beds can't dream of offering - plant your salads and shallow rooting crops round the perimeter of the FSC approved, high pressure treated timber manger and let the plants (including carrots and parsnips) which require extra depth really stretch their legs in the centre, where 45cm (17½") of soil is available. Manufactured from 2cm (¾") thick planed timber and carrying a 5 year structural guarantee, you can be sure the Manger Raised Planter won't let you down and and your patio will be grateful for the thick, fitted, non-woven polypropylene fabric liner which aids water retention, contains fine sand and compost and helps prevent leaching. We've raised our much sought-after Timber Raised Bed range up a level - quite literally! - with the introduction of our back-saving Timber Raised Bed Tables; a variation on the existing designs which elevates your home grown vegetables up to a comfortable working height of 74cm (2'5"). Using the same components which make our Standard and Superior Timber Raised Beds so popular, the 2ft x 4ft rectangular or 4ft square shapes of Timber Raised Bed Tables suit most patio or garden spaces and are available in a range of depths for the efficient growing of strawberries, salads, herbs and even deep rooted vegetables. The slatted base is covered with a stiff recyclable plastic cover, and we also supply a thick non-woven polypropylene fabric liner for water retention and containing compost. All the FSC accredited planed timber used in the manufacture of the Timber Raised Bed Tables is high pressure treated with a safe preserve and the beds carry a 5 year structural guarantee for complete peace of mind.
