The Build-a-Ball Aluminium Vegetable Cage Kits with Fitted Covers save valuable gardening time and effort when protecting your home grown vegetable crops; not only is the Build-a-Ball and aluminium tubing framework easy and quick to assemble, but our exclusive Fitted Covers mean no more wrestling with ungainly sections of netting!

Create the 1.2m high vegetable cage by simply slotting the long lasting 16mm diameter aluminium tubing uprights and 12.7mm diameter top rods into the durable build-a-ball connectors before easing a soft knitted 7mm mesh butterfly netting cover or an ultra fine 0.25mm x 0.8mm insect-mesh cover over the top, pegging it securely in the soil (pegs not supplied but our ground pegs fit the bill perfectly!). These covers are a perfect fit - a real time saver for accessing or closing up the plot and they look incredibly neat too. The butterfly net cover is complete with stitched seams, making it easy to pull on and off the frame as one piece; alternatively the fine insect-mesh cover features tailored velcro seams for direct access to plants, without needing to remove the cover from the frame, and also has a custom-made hem with reinforced eyelets to accept ground pegs without making holes in the material.

The White Tripeg is ideal for securely and almost invisibly holding down fleece and insect mesh along with most other types of garden netting and is a slightly smaller and certainly much paler version of the Heavy Duty Tripeg.

Expect the 15.5cm (6") centre prong to resist any attempts by the weather to remove your mesh and fleece down at the allotment, kitchen garden or vegetable plot, accompanied by the two smaller 'henchman' half size spikes on either side which sit on the fabric and hold it in position.
