Celery and Celeriac Seeds - crunching into a garden-fresh, just-picked stem of juicy, stringless green celery is one of the perks of growing your own vegetables and with our organic celery and celeriac seeds, you could be doing just that between 4 to 8 months after sowing on the allotment or in the vegetable patch and kitchen garden. Somethings are worth waiting for and that's certainly the case with these varieties; they occupy the ground for a large part of the year but the end result - imagine adding freshly grated celeriac to a winter salad - is certainly worth it.
To help guide you through the celery/celeriac growing process, we've put together easy to follow sowing and growing tables (see the example below) which appear on every seed page and you'll also see the instantly recognisable Soill Association mark here too - that's because all our seeds meet the Association's stringent organic standards and therefore fit perfectly into any organic gardening set-up. These packets of Bio Seedling Stimulator will help vulnerable flower and plant seedlings through the most difficult stage of their growth just by adding the granular Atlantic seaweed extract to water!

The Bio Seedling Stimulator contains a mix of N (0.7%), P (0.10%) and K (9.7%) which helps young seedlings toughen up quickly and grown on to produce healthy blooms, foliage and fruit in the garden. |

Classed as a green celery, the stalks of Tall Utah will add interest to salads and can be cut and diced for inclusion in soups, casseroles and broths - bringing that home-grown taste from the kitchen garden to the kitchen table in a matter of minutes. Perhaps not a vegetable for the impatient gardener - celeriac takes up to 6 months to mature and occupies the soil in the kitchen garden, vegetable patch or down the allotment for almost the whole year - but if you've got the patience, Organic Celeriac Prinz Seeds will reward you well in the winter. The bounty is a turnip-like bulb with a distinctive celery taste which can be cooked or grated into winter salads and leaves which make a great addition to soups. Sow in early spring under glass, harden off and plant out in early summer and leave in the ground through the depths of winter until your pantry comes calling!
